intelmac: do you have a D-Link router? Maybe it can be configured to be the default gateway?
theblue, that would be easier...
tech13: How do I do it?
tnt, If that were the case, I would expect to be able to see much higher FPS at lower resolutions than I currently get, which is just a few and usually about what my card's maximum render speed is anyway.
anyone here familiar with using xorgconfig on a live cd?
theblue: I don't know.
theblue, what are you asking? What card/drivers are you using?
theblue: Do I have to configure it in the router?
tech13: I am using an Intel 950.
theblue: im using a sony laptop
I am trying to connect to the internet, and the Intel 950 card shows a wireless card, not the ethernet.
intelmac: Oh.
theblue: that is the driver in use
intelmac: the problem is it thinks the wireless is the ethernet?
the blue driver is loaded
intelmac: What if I set the card to be the default gateway?
theblue: what type of connection are you trying to make?
The connection that is already set up.
I am not trying to set up a new connection.
nickrud: the blue driver is loaded but i am not sure what device it is
nickrud, The problem is that is the only device that uses that driver
I am trying to use the one that is already there.
theblue, I think you have to setup the router.
tech13: How do I do it?
theblue: then i am not sure what you have to do
I'm trying to recall.. I've used it before.
theblue: you
